Someone once asked me if you’re walking on a sidewalk, should you move out of the was when you encounter another human coming toward you on the exact same side of the said sidewalk, as you were the one who was most observant and seen the issue at hand,  or do you hold your ground and plod along?  Well, there are a few things you must  consider faced with such a possible collision…  Are you walking alone?  Is the object that’s moving toward you part of a heartmelting, hand holding couple, busily whispering sweet nothings into one anothers ear, oblivious to the impending collision by the dusty pink glasses of amore fogging their vision? Do they pull along a Golden Retriever, or push forth a carriage of their wrinkly, squeaking mini-me’s?  Do you hold back a snarling Rottweiler?  All things must be considered when faced with a tragedy of this volume.  You must be a fast thinker, Obi-Wan, if he obviously hasn’t moved by now, he is intent on your doom and coming up fast.  Use the force!  You can widen your shoulders, frown that forehead in distructive intent, and hold your ground, or be the bigger man, putting your needs behind those of others- if he hasn’t moved yet, he must be distracted by something important, and it would be your good Karma to move aside, not being the one who disturbs his  path of thoughtful inconsiderance.  Whichever path you decide to take, note the reaction of the other guy, and how that reacts with you.
